I am new to the idea of social bookmarking. Thank you for this overview. I am a graduate student interested in how teachers use blogs to increase their knowledge of new literacies. The idea of social bookmarking is an interesting way to organize my Internet wanderings. Until now, I've just used the bookmark organizer in Firefox. It's OK, but only when I'm using my own laptop. When I'm visiting a school or working in my university office, it would be nice to have my own bookmarks.
